With the Radial SGI pack, high impedance guitar signals can be sent over a distance of more than one-hundred metres. On stage, this convenient system can be set up to transmit the guitar signal to and from wireless systems, pedalboards, and amplifiers. In the studio, guitarists are able sit comfortably in the control room and send their guitar signal to the amplifier that's set up in the live room, so the gear that you hook up to the SGI system can be running on different electrical circuits. To counter any sound problems caused by possible ground loops, the SGI has been kitted out with isolation transformers at each end that have been both matched and reverse-wired to compensate. And, since both units come wrapped up in a bright yellow housing, you can't miss them on a dark stage.

The SGI TX and SGI RX Combo

The Radial SGI pack includes an SGI TX transmitter and an SGI RX receiver, both of which can be hooked up using a standard XLR microphone cable. Designed and built to provide decades of service both on stage and the studio, both parts of the SGI system features a 100% discreet Class-A signal path to guarantee optimum audio performance and effectively eliminate the buzz and hum that comes with ground loops. The SGI TX transmitter also comes equipped with the unique Radial Drag Control for load correction, and since the unit is active, it's powered using the included 15V DC power supply while the receiver module is passive and requires no power.
